As the pastors of Odessa Christian Faith Center, we would like to encourage you to be our guest during our services. We know that you will be blessed by the teaching of the Word and by the moving of the Holy Spirit. No matter what you may need, we believe God is your answer!

 

If you are looking for a church home, again, we encourage you to visit us and pray about becoming a vital part of our church family. Jesus came so that you could enjoy an abundant life, and part of that life is the excitement of joining with other Christians in worship.

There are many areas of ministry available to you at Odessa Christian Faith Center, and we know these ministries will enrich your life and help you serve in the Kingdom of God.

What should I expect?
It is never easy to visit a new church for the first time, so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. A typical service at OCFC lasts about an hour and thirty minutes. The lobby is always full of smiling faces waiting to help you find your way. The Welcome and Information Centers are available before and after each service to help with any other questions you may have. Please make yourself at home and participate as you feel comfortable.

Let’s talk about dress. We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Some people dress up and some choose to dress down. Come the way that you feel most comfortable.

Your children are special guests. We have an amazing team of Children's workers ready to minister to your kids from birth through 6th grade. Look for Guides, with a “Questions? Ask Me!” badge, in the lobby when you first arrive and they will help you with your kids. Our children’s classes have been developed with your child’s security — and your peace of mind — at the forefront, which is why we do background checks on every person ministering or teaching in our children's departments. Your children will be cared for and taught by loving, trained volunteers in a secure environment. Every child is taught at his / her level of understanding.

 

Odessa Christian Faith Center's Statement of Purpose:

To be active disciples of Christ by attracting and leading the unsaved to Jesus, encouraging uncommitted Christians to consecrate themselves to God's plan for their lives and providing a climate for spiritual growth to equip believers for worship and relevant ministry that serves Odessa, the Permian Basin, and beyond.

Statement of Faith

  1. The Bible is the mind of Christ and is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  2. There is one God manifested in three personalities, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  3. The reality of Satan and his present control over unregenerate man does exist.
  4. Christianity is based upon the following:

The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal return in power and glory as Lord of lords and King of kings.

The fall of man and his lost estate, which makes necessary a rebirth through confession and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ

The reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ

The resurrection of believers unto everlasting life and blessing in Heaven and the resurrection of unbelievers unto everlasting punishment in the torments of Hell

The present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit, who bestows the spiritual gifts of: the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, Faith,Gifts of Healing,Working of Miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of Spirits, Tongues, the Interpretation of Tongues, in and among the believers on the earth since the day of Pentecost and continuing until our Lord's return.
